Boring BYU

Boring BYU

Is it just me, or are the BYU football games getting boring?

The last 4 or so games, I have watched, but not really enjoyed. There are some good plays, but very little along the lines of great or amazing plays. There is no drama because they are blowing out their opponents. This last game against Colorado State was a little exciting in the first quarter. That was just because BYU didn’t seem to be firing on all cylinders at first.

It’s great that they are doing so well, but it would be nice to see some more amazing plays. The BYU offense has become a machine that just marches. It doesn’t do anything flashy… just gets the job done.

I guess I shouldn’t complain.

Genius…no love when they stink, no love when they’re dominating! At least finally the boredom will last into bowl season. I do agree with you, especially the game against Colorado State. It was a snoozer. Expect another “boring” conference champion-clinching game Thursday against Wyoming.

Was the game tonight boring enough for you? I didn’t get to see it, but it looks like another boring blowout;-) Anytime a defense holds the other team to a touchdown, that’s good football.

Yeah… pretty boring. It was basically over after the first quarter. There were a couple great plays, but nothing really spectacular. BYU’s machine just marched right over the Cowboys. And Wyoming’s touchdown was pretty much a gimme towards the end of the game. I think it was the second string defense that just didn’t have their heads in the game.

Anyway… I’m not really complaining… ok, so I am, but it’s a different complaining. I just want a little more excitement. But given the choice of a boring win versus an exciting loss (BC), I’ll take the win.
